90%

We’re tackling the statewide shortage of primary care physicians. Brody consistently ranks better than 90% of the nation’s medical schools for graduating physicians who practice in their home state. A higher percentage of Brody graduates remain in primary care in North Carolina five years after graduation than any other school in the state.

$3Billion

We’re an economic force in NC. Brody graduates currently practicing in North Carolina represent an annual contribution of more than $3 billion to the state’s economy. Plus, we are practicing in 83 of North Carolina’s 100 counties with 1,400 Brody doctors across the state.

Accessible + Cost Efficient

Our tuition ranks among the lowest in the United States, and our graduates depart on average with $50,000 less debt than their peers nationwide. We are enhancing the access of minority and disadvantaged students to a medical education while increasing the supply of primary care physicians to serve the state.
